Pricing

How I price this.

Everything is fixed price, agreed in writing before I start. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices, and nothing that grows once we’re underway.

I’m taking on a small number of clients right now and pricing each one against the work it needs. The number comes out of the Map, once I’ve seen what each break actually needs.

Terms

How you pay
The Map is paid up front. Builds are half up front and half when it’s live. The monthly fee starts the month after the build is finished, not before.
What happens if it costs more than quoted
It doesn’t. The quote comes out of the Map, so I’ve already looked at your systems before I put a number on it, and the quote names every system I’m connecting. If you decide part way through that you want another one connected, that’s a separate fixed price. I’ll tell you before I start it and you can say no. There is no other way for the number to move.
Getting out
30 days’ notice on the monthly, any time, for any reason. No annual contract, no cancellation fee. Everything I built stays yours and keeps running.
What’s not included in the monthly
Two hours a month of changes are included, and unused hours roll over up to six. Beyond that I quote the work, or bill it hourly, and I tell you before I start. You will never get a surprise invoice.
Software you pay for separately
You pay your own software bills directly, in your own accounts. I don’t mark anything up and I don’t take commission on tools I recommend. If a $150 product does what you need, I’ll say so.
